It all started in Lalín in 1956, with a manual knitting machine and the dedication of Fidel Montoto and Élida Rodríguez. What began as a small family workshop became, generation after generation, one of the benchmarks for knitwear in Spain.
Today, more than 65 years later, we remain faithful to those origins. We design and manufacture our garments entirely in Galicia, in Lalín, with the same care for detail, quality of materials, and craftsmanship that has been with us from the beginning.
Montoto is a family story, linked to roots and the know-how of a trade passed down from generation to generation. We continue to create knitwear with the same passion with which we started.
